Epic trail finishes are never accomplished alone. Behind every runner conquering our events—from the limestone walls of La Huasteca and the river crossings of Río Pilón to the relentless peaks of Sierra de Santiago—stands an essential force: our Volunteer Staff.

We are looking for driven, dedicated outdoor enthusiasts ready to experience high-altitude endurance racing from behind the scenes. At every checkpoint, your grit and support make all the difference: fueling athletes, logging race data, and delivering the spark of motivation that pushes runners across the finish line.

2. Post-Race Reward Trip to Aldea Matacanes: Accommodation and round-trip ground transportation included on a scheduled date after the event (meals and beverages not included).

Checkpoint Roles & Positions

Each checkpoint operates under designated responsibilities and requires brief pre-race training:

1. Checkpoint Lead (Coordinador General): Oversees overall station logistics, site safety, and real-time communication with Race HQ.
2. Aid Station Lead (Coordinador de Abastos): Manages setup, inventory, and fast-paced hydration and nutrition service.
3. Media Lead (Coordinador de Medios): Captures high-energy photo/video moments and coordinates visual updates.
4. Timing & Scanners (2 crew members): Operates timing devices, logs runner bibs/splits, and reports dropouts in real time.

Expectations & Commitment

1. Full punctuality and dedication to assigned shift hours and operational targets.
2. Completion of the pre-event briefing/training session (virtual or in-person).
3. Team spirit, problem-solving mindset, and comfort with outdoor, variable conditions.
